Luke's Talon goes under the knife!
As many of may know Beyond Redline owner Luke Stubbs has always remained adament that his 1992 Eagle talon is a "Street" car and not purely a racing machine.  This was proven in 2006 when Luke successfully drove his car to Wisconsin International Raceway, ran a 10.6 1/4 mile, and then drove his car home without any problems.  No trailer required!  Well...things are starting to change:

Project Typhoon goes 10.9 at 127mph!
Project Typhoon makes over 700 FT LB of Torque! As many of you may have seen at the shop or dragstrip this summer we have been working feverishly on our customer's GMC Typhoon.  More info to come in the customer car's page but as of this afternoon, we laid down over 600HP and 700 FT LB of Torque.  Look for one last hurrah this Saturday afternoon at RSD in Kaukauna.  This time we have some sticky and smaller tires to see if we can get the 1/4 trap speed and time down even lower!  UPDATE!!! NEW 1/4 MILE BEST: 10.9 @ 127MPH I guess all that extra power we made really paid off because we finally achieved our goal of running 10's.  A revised intake system, colder spark plugs, and little more tuning showed huge gains at the track today.  Make sure to check out the dyno graph below to see how incredible the power band is on this engine.  Truly remarkable!
